Meet Riley- Owner of RD Auto Electrics & Off-Grid Specialist.
I’ve had a passion for auto electrics for as long as I can remember. That passion was truly ignited at 15 when I built my first project vehicle — a 1991 Toyota Hilux — rebuilt from the ground up. From that moment on, I knew working on vehicles and electrical power systems in particular was exactly what I was meant to do.
After turning this passion into a career, I recognised a growing demand for specialists in custom lithium and off-grid power systems for 4WDs and Caravans. In 2016, I founded RD Auto Electrics to provide reliable, high-quality installations for travellers, tradies, and off-grid adventurers.
Based in Bunbury, I proudly service the South West, Perth and surrounding areas, delivering clean and dependable electrical systems built to perform in real Australian conditions.
When I am not at the workshop, you'll usually find me exploring the outdoors with my wife Molly and our kelpie Dusty, putting our setups to the test in real-world conditions..
